3 Reasons to Attend the Red Hot Preaching Conference

Pastor Anderson's Blog

July 15, 2016

Verity’s Red Hot Preaching Conference is fast approaching. Join us Thursday, July 28th, through Sunday, July 31st, in Sacramento, California, at Verity Baptist Church. I hope that you will start planning now to make it to this historic event and attend one or more of the services. My friends, Pastor Roger Jimenez, Pastor Donnie Romero, Pastor David Berzins, and I will all be preaching at the conference. There is, of course, no cost to attend—you’ll just need to find a way to get there, make your own hotel reservations, etc. This conference will be a great time of preaching as well as a time of fellowship with like-minded believers from across the United States, and we are praying it will be a time of revival. Consider the following reasons to attend:

1. Meet Like-Minded Independent, Fundamental Baptists

This exciting event is an opportunity to meet other dedicated, like-minded Christians. Enjoying fellowship with others of like faith is so important--especially if you are single or have teenagers. On Saturday evening, there will be a youth activity for teenagers 13 and up and also an activity for never-married singles, ages 18 and up.

2. Hear Powerful, Spirit-Filled Preaching in Person

This is a rare opportunity to hear several dynamic, fire-breathing preachers all in one place. No matter how many sermons you have heard online, it is so much more powerful to hear the preaching live. As a pastor, I need to hear preaching, too, so I am excited about this once in a lifetime opportunity to hear these great men of God all in one place.

3. Take a Stand Against the Homo Agenda

If you have any type of anti-Sodomite attire, such as “straight pride” tee-shirts, etc., this would be a great time to wear it since there will likely be a few protestors on the sidewalk. Just being at this event is a great way to encourage the people of Verity Baptist Church and show your support for the spiritual battle they are facing.

Here is the schedule:

Thursday: Evening Service at 7:00 p.m.

Friday: Soul-Winning at 9:30 a.m. and Evening Service at 7:00 p.m.

Saturday: Soul-Winning at 9:30 a.m., Lunch for Soul-Winners at 12:00 p.m., Afternoon Service at 2:00 p.m., and Teen and Singles Activities at 5:00 p.m.

“Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” Isaiah 58:1
